Professional Supervision across Australia
Lerni supervises practitioners in every state and territory. Sessions are delivered online by default, which means a service in remote Western Australia gets the same consistent monthly supervisor as one in central Sydney. In-person supervision and on-site group sessions can be arranged in metropolitan areas.
How supervision is delivered
Supervision is delivered online across Australia, with in-person and on-site group sessions arranged for metropolitan services and whole-of-team programs.
Because sessions are online by default, a consistent monthly supervisor is possible well outside the capital cities, which is usually where it is hardest to find one.
Same supervisor each month
You are not re-explaining your service to a new person every few months.
Scheduled to your timezone
Sessions are booked in local time, around ratios, rosters and shifts.
Professional supervision in New South Wales
NSW is where the largest share of our supervision happens, across early learning networks, schools, community services and NDIS providers. Regional and remote services get the same supervisor consistency as metropolitan ones, because sessions are delivered online where travel is impractical.
Where we supervise: Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Central Coast, the Northern Rivers, the Riverina and far western NSW.
In person clinical supervision is available at our offices in Sutherland. Clinical supervision in Sydney →
Professional supervision in Victoria
Victorian services engage Lerni across early learning, education and disability support. Supervision is delivered online statewide, and in person in metropolitan Melbourne by arrangement.
Where we supervise: Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, the Latrobe Valley and regional Victoria.
Professional supervision in Queensland
Distance is the main obstacle to supervision in Queensland, and online delivery removes it. A service in Mount Isa books the same supervisor each month as a centre in Brisbane.
Where we supervise: Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville, Cairns and remote far north Queensland.
Professional supervision in Western Australia
Remote WA services are among the hardest places in the country to resource professional support. Sessions are booked in WA time with supervisors who work that timezone rather than an east-coast afternoon slot.
Where we supervise: Perth, Bunbury, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Broome and the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.
Professional supervision in South Australia
South Australian early learning, health and community services engage supervision statewide, including culturally safe supervision for practitioners working in remote Aboriginal communities.
Where we supervise: Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Whyalla, Port Augusta and the APY Lands.
Professional supervision in Tasmania
Services in Tasmania are often small, and a worker in a five-person team has nowhere internal to take a difficult case. External supervision fills that gap.
Where we supervise: Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, Burnie and the west coast.
Professional supervision in Australian Capital Territory
Canberra services, including government-adjacent community organisations, engage supervision individually and as whole-of-team programs.
Where we supervise: Canberra and the surrounding region.
Professional supervision in Northern Territory
Territory services deal with high staff turnover alongside high need. Supervision is one of the few things that keeps experienced practitioners in place, and cultural supervision is available for First Nations practitioners.
Where we supervise: Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs and remote communities.
